On December 2nd at 3:00 PM (CET) the German Mining & Resources Network will explore Peru´s dynamic mineral landscape, a country brimming with opportunities in the critical raw materials sector for the German business community.
Peru is one of Latin America’s most traditional mining nations, with a long-standing heritage in mineral extraction. Mining remains a central pillar of the Peruvian economy, accounting for the largest share of the country’s total exports. The country is among the world’s top producers of copper, zinc, and molybdenum, and it also holds promising lithium reserves. Peru’s mineral wealth underlines its growing importance in the global raw materials value chain.
Marina Yzú, Deputy Managing Director of the AHK Peru will present the work of the Mining Competence Center of the AHK Peru.
